Having a gay time

I went on holiday for a few days. Above is my friend Jenny and me, eating a Golden Gaytime, which is an icecream coated in broken cookies. They have been around since our childhood. Back then, a gay time meant a happy time. It did not mean a bad time, a homosexual time, or anything else. Those were innocent times. The kids had fun looking for shells, driving go karts, fishing, and just being kids. xxoo

  1. I knew what you meant :) - And these pics are so wonderful. I can just feel the happiness and fun going on in them.

I wish I was seated next to you and Jenny noshing one of those ice cream bars and laughing along with you. Looks like so much fun.

  2. oh you look so happy!

    smiles, bee

  3. Glad you had such a great time :)
Thanks for sharing the pics with us!!!!!

  4. We have those ice cream bars with the crunchy coating, too, though I don't remember what they're called. They're very good indeed.

  5. Looks like folks are having fun and the ice cream looks great--I grew up with a friend named Gay--as the meaning began to change when we were in high school and college, I often felt sorry for her.

  6. Great pics....glad you had such a good time!

I want one of those ice creams....
